Eric Reed
February 19, 6:30 PM, Eagle Lodge, Mammoth Mountain
One of the world's foremost pioneers in the developing game of bivouac paragliding, Eric is a two-time US Paragliding Champion, co-holder of the record for the world’s longest bivouac flight, and a lover of anchovies. Nicknamed "The Badger," for reasons you will have to ask him about, he has twice flown the Himalaya (first setting the record for longest flight, then landing in jail). This past summer, Eric and friends flew a 400-mile bivvy expedition from Mt. Whitney to Oregon they called Sierra Safari.
